Pareto said, "History is the graveyard of
aristocracies." Well, if we take this to be true, then there is no denying the fact that history is not just fact but also an interpretation of what people think of it , ones who lived it. What we read about history is not just what happened but also in what light a person viewed a certain incidence from the past. And if history is what people think of it, then it is also to be taken into account that of the many historians,
British and French
historians and Aristocrats have been large in number. And who does not know the differences between German and British-
French views. If this disagreement is agreed upon, then rethink Adolf Hitler, who I think has been grossly mistaken. Whenever Hitler's name is taken, the only thing people associate him with is the killing of
Jews in gas chambers. He is considered to be either callous or beast like. I am not supporting what Hitler did with the
Jews. But there is more to Hitler than just what he did with the Jews. We look at the outcome but we never look at what made him take such a huge step. A man who wrote, "I respected my father, but I loved my mother ", would he have not recognised the women in his country? I am asking this question because I read in an
Osho magazine that since Germany is the only
country which calls its country a Fatherland, since the time of Hitler regime, is in some ways different from other countries because it
does not recognise the fact that the country nurtures it's country men. Secondly, somebody who
starved, struggled and suffered in Vienna and was an aspiring architect and artist, would he be heartless? I guess, today's politicians should learn from Hitler.
At least, he had the ability to take decisions. Half of them today do not take decisions
because of the fear that they might not be liked or will be overthrown.
At least Hitler had the audacity to face criticisms.
Hitler was the only person who could control the tumultuous Germany then. The British and French would have in any way jolted the Germans one day because of the strong army, its strategic location and rising power. Hitler is not the only one misunderstood. Opinions on many great leaders like the one on Saddam Hussain in today's world has been created by a super power of its time. When Hitler- AKA 'Der Führer' (The Leader) was gunned down in Munich with twelve of his other political leaders from the Nationalist Socialist (Nazi) party when Germany was taken over by the Allied powers, no one from the army could fire at Adolf Hitler and he escaped. Historians say the army men did it due to fear. But can fear or terror chain down the exploited from not killing their exploiter? I don't think so. Fear does not have that power. This valour can only come in respect. Yes, I think that the Germans respected Hitler rather than fearing him. Well, a lot needs to be said about Hitler and you would only understand once you read about him or his autobiography Mein Kampf. And I would also like to add that pllllllllllllllleeeaaaaaaaasssssssseeeeeee widen your horizon when you read something about Hitler. Do not take things on face value. Whatever is written about Hitler is not the only truth about him. An interplay of your analysis and the writings about him would give you a better picture. Rest is for you to decide. Hail Hitler!
